October 24 – 31, 2016:
Week of activities in schools and community to raise awareness and provide drug prevention education.
This year’s campaign theme is YOLO – You Only Live Once.
One of the key concerns in our community is that prescription (Rx) drugs are easily accessed and shared. We want everyone to know that sharing or using someone else’s Rx drugs is dangerous because each person reacts differently to a substance – it might help one person, but hurt a different person. Take care of the one life you have; YOLO!
To reduce access, learn where you can safely get rid of meds
