My name is Phil, I am the new Program Coordinator for ASAP. I care deeply about public health, particularly with preventing substance abuse and increasing financial literacy. Previously, I was a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual and prior to that served as the Program Coordinator for ASAP in 2015. I think substance abuse and financial illiteracy have strong grips on our society, but I believe we can continue to build safer, supportive, and more connected communities through primary prevention and strategic planning. Over the last 5 five years I helped bring over $1,000,000 of federal funding to Minnesota for substance abuse prevention, and I am excited to be a part of what Winona County is doing.
I have been a Winona County resident since 2007, and graduated from Winona State University (WSU) in 2011 where I also met my beautiful and talented wife. Right now, we have one toddler at home and enjoy hiking, camping, and watching movies together. I would love to get to know you, your passions, and your concerns for Winona County so reach out to me at [email protected]. You can also call our office at 507-474-9825.
