Twelve high school students will be selected to attend this FREE summer retreat from June 19-21, 2017 at Camp New Hope in McGregor, MN. Learn how to put together fun, short kits around a community problem and how to make a positive difference. This is a great opportunity to have fun meeting new people, and gain volunteer experience with a purpose.
What is IMPROV?
IMPROV is a tool for students to generate problem solving discussions by performing a series of short realistic scenarios, and engaging an audience to respond with the help of an advisor.
Who can attend the IMPROV Training?
Any high school student who displays a desire to positively impact their community. Freshmen and Sophomores are strongly encouraged to apply.
How much is the entire trip?
Winona County ASAP is covering the majority of necessary expenses. Transportation, lodging, and meals are provided. Any additional expenses such as souvenirs and snacks are the student’s responsibility.
