Four (4) students in Winona County (Grade 7-12) will be selected for a full scholarship (covers registration, travel, lodging, and meals) to attend this national conference.

This annual 4-day conference held at our nation’s capitol brings together hundreds of students from around the country and provides excellent youth leadership training.
There will be presentations from nationally-known experts and policymakers, and a full day dedicated to Capitol Hill events where you can meet your elected officials in Congress.

You should allow for 1 travel day before and after these dates.

The entire conference will be held at the magnificent Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center (201 Waterfront Street, National Harbor, MD 20745).
Any student in Winona County that is 18 years of age or younger in middle or high school.
Students must commit to attending the full conference and refrain from using phones during sessions.
Students must participate in a group service project after they return home.
Students should have full parent or guardian permission before applying.
Students must attend a pre-trip meeting.
Applications are due no later than Friday, December 2nd.
