Apply for the 2023 Montana Summer Institute

Applications are due no later than Friday, April 14, 2023. Please drop them off with a security deposit check to the front desk of the Winona Family YMCA. For questions about the conference or application process you may email [email protected] or call (507) 474-9825. 

What is the Montana Summer Institute?

The Montana Summer Institute is an outstanding and refreshing four-day conference held at the Big Sky Resort on June 20 – 23, 2023! Participants will attend keynote presentations and individual workshops to gain information on the Positive Community Norm (PCN) Framework.

When is the conference?

Tuesday, June 20th through Friday, June 23rd, 2023.

If selected, you should allow for 1 day travel before and after these dates.

Who can attend?

This opportunity is available to any ASAP supporters.

A scholarship to cover airfare, lodging, food, and training materials are provided by the Drug-Free Communities Grant.  

Participants are responsible for their own snacks, souvenirs, and sightseeing.

What are the requirements?

Participants must commit to attending the full conference.

Following the conference, participants are required to present findings at an ASAP Board Meeting and support our PCN Committee with implementing the 2023-2024 school campaign.

Applications are due no later than Friday, April 14, 2023.

How do I apply?

2023 Montana Summer Institute ApplicationTo apply, please fill out a paper application and include a $100 security deposit check. You may download the application below. Make check payable to “Winona County ASAP”. Checks will not be deposited, and will be returned if not selected or after completion of the conference. 

Please drop off applications and check at the front desk of the Winona Family YMCA (902 Parks Ave) and request delivery to the ASAP Office.

All applicants will receive a message if they were selected or not by 4/28/23.
