2023 Day at the Capitol

ASAP is partnering with Minnesotans for a Smoke-Free Generation to provide students with the opportunity to see the Minnesota Capitol Building, learn about the legislative branch of government and tobacco/vaping issues, and meet their state representatives in-person. This 1-day event will bring together hundreds of students from across Minnesota.

Students can expect to be gone 7:30am to 5pm. 

The day will include scheduled meetings with legislators, information sessions, and other engaging activities. This is a FREE event.

Transportation, lunch, and t-shirt are covered by grant funding. Students may bring their own pocket money for souvenirs.

Waiver forms can be sent to [email protected] or given to your teacher if going with a class. Every student must have a signed Consent Form before getting on the bus.
